Project Description: Ansys Hall is a state-of-the-art building which will be used by Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Institute for research and development. The building was designed to bring Carnegie Mellon students, faculty, and staff together to collaborate and innovate. Our scope of work for this project included glazed aluminum curtainwall, custom sunshades, a custom all-glass bridge façade, fire rated framing systems, aluminum entrances, and interior glazing. The curtainwall system included multiple trim profiles of varying depths to achieve a unique design envisioned by the architectural team.
