Who We Are
Established in 1974 and located in Bethel Park, PA, D-M Products, Inc. (DMP) has distinguished itself as a leading contract glazing company in the industry. We specialize in the sales and installation of aluminum curtain walls, windows, skylights, and associated glazing products. We focus primarily on servicing the Corporate, University and Healthcare markets and have completed major construction and renovation projects across Western & Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia. As we approach our 50th year in business, we take enormous pride in the work we perform and strive to exceed owner expectations on every project we undertake, no matter the size or complexity.

History
Dick Macurak, Sr. founded D-M Products, Inc. in 1974, following a 20-year career with United Plate Glass. Dick had an entrepreneurial spirit and recognized an opportunity to establish a glazing company in the Pittsburgh region. The early years of the company were challenging, selling and installing commercial and residential windows. He was passionate about growing the business and carried a dedication to detail and quality that was simply unmatched. With close relationships that he had developed with general contractors and architects, the business began to grow. The decade of 1980-1990 was a period of great growth. Of note was the contract award in 1982 to replace over 3,000 windows in the Koppers and Chamber of Commerce Buildings in Pittsburgh. In 1988, the company installed its first unitized curtainwall system at the University of Pittsburgh BST I. Under the continued leadership of his son Dick Jr. who joined the firm in 1981, along with its passionate staff, the company continued to grow and develop a reputation for completing large and complex projects. To date, DMP has installed well in excess of 1 million square feet of unitized curtainwall in the region. In 2022, the company transitioned to a third generation with Mike Macurak taking over ownership of the firm. Mike is committed to maintaining the core principles and integrity of the company as it approaches its 50th year in business.
Core Competencies
DMP approaches every unique project with the ultimate goal of delivering top quality products on time and on budget, through safe working practices. We work closely with our outstanding manufacturing partners which produce the aluminum and glass products that we install with our own experienced union workforce.
Our firm promotes and embraces the Design Assist method of construction. In our experience, it promotes team collaboration, greatly facilitates product manufacturing, delivery to site, and affords the opportunity to improve project schedules. The early involvement of our manufacturers allows us to assist the architect in completing the design and seek opportunities to develop details that result in constructability, efficiency, and cost savings.
